I have a really exciting wedding to share with you today! Luiza and Daniel married in August in New York.
Luiza's bouquet was romantic with honey, peach and pearl hues. I mixed the enamel flowers over a bed of soft-touch silk flowers. The stem was wrapped with a burlap fabric, and I included a family photo in a locket.
My grandmother always tells me that when I was a little girl and I'd see a well-dressed, fancy lady, I would say "Grandma, look at her... she looks like New York City!" (apparently I put such an emphasis on the words "New York City" that it was as if I had never said them before).
Luiza looks like New York City.
It's a Jewish tradition to be walked down the aisle with both parents, not just the father of the bride.
Another Jewish tradition... the looks on their faces sum up the fear and adrenaline of being hoisted overhead on chairs in celebration!
I love a groom that serenades his bride!
The Ritzy Rose doesn't condone smoking, and my mother will be unhappy that I'm posting this photo, but I love this calm, pensive moment in the middle of her wedding day.
Congrats Luiza + Daniel!
